Visiting Taman Kendedes



Yes, Taman Kendedes. Some of you maybe familiar with this park. It is located next to Arjosari Bus Station. Do we have to pay to enter this park? No. It's free and it has open area, so if you want to see this park, just come. I went there with my husband after we visited his friend, we just parked our car next to the lane then we took some picture and enjoyed the park.



Maybe you have some questions about who Kendedes is? Yepp, it's a long story of Singosari era. Long-long time ago, she was the consort of king Tunggul Amentung. Later, Kendedes' children became the kings and queens after his father. Kendedes is famous because almost all of her children became king and queen. She is known as Prameswari.



The location of the Taman Kendedes is believed to be the village where Kendedes lived before Tunggul Amentung married her. It was Panawijen, but now people call it Palawijen.

Moving to Malang

For me, who lived in a lower area and had been accostumed to warm weather, adaptating to this cold weather is not easy.
